Admittedly, our favorite part about awards season is the plethora of new dresses that emerge on the red carpet for our enjoyment…
Bridal fashion takes cues from runway fashion, so it’s no surprise that we have dresses here at The Plumed Serpent Bridal that correlate to styles on the red carpet.

Here’s some of our favorite Oscars dresses, matched with their Plumed Serpent counterparts!

Sequin detailing and embellishments seemed to be a recurring theme last night, exemplified here in JLo’s Elie Saab gown. Meanwhile, Monique Lhuillier picks up this trend in her *Moonlit* gown from her Fall 2015 Collection.

You can never go wrong with a ball gown with pockets! Chloe Grace Moretz’s Miu Miu dress is echoed in design by Modern Trousseau’s *Honor* gown.

We found the color and sleek silhouette of Zoe Saldana’s Atelier Versace gown to be reminiscent of the *Lola* dress from Elizabeth Fillmore. This look is the ultimate in femininity!

Strong lines and an off-the-shoulder neckline are the defining characteristics of both Reese Witherspoon’s Tom Ford dress and *The Coast* gown from Lela Rose.

The column silhouette and belt of Nicole Kidman’s Louis Vuitton ensemble find their double in the *Kush* gown from Modern Trousseau.

Last but not least, one of our red carpet faves, Emma Stone, rocks a heavily beaded Elie Saab frock  similar to *Lana* from Elizabeth Fillmore.

…We’re taking this as proof that our gowns are absolutely Oscar-worthy!
